According to a release issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the discussions focused on expanding the company's digital infrastructure and investments in the state. Telangana pitches AI and digital infrastructure expansion Revanth Reddy said the state is planning to establish a comprehensive data centre and artificial intelligence infrastructure campus. He invited Bharti Airtel to expand its digital, cloud, cybersecurity and AI operations in Hyderabad. The chief minister also asked the company to expedite its proposed Chandanvelli data centre project and nominate a senior executive to coordinate with the state government on future investments and the resolution of pending issues. Mittal, who met the chief minister at the MCRHRD Bodhi Pavilion, assured the government that Bharti Enterprises was ready to increase its data centre capacity across Telangana. Bharti Foundation to support students through scholarships The chief minister briefed Mittal on the state's education and skilling initiatives, including the establishment of the Young India Skill University, the upgrade of Industrial Training Institutes into advanced technology centres and the strengthening of polytechnic colleges. He said the reforms were aimed at improving youth employability and meeting industry requirements. Mittal also announced that the Bharti Foundation would provide scholarships to students studying in government schools and advanced technology centres in Telangana as part of its corporate social responsibility programme. ]]>
