Anthropic expands US government AI deal with 40% discount despite Pentagon dispute
Anthropic is extending discounted access to Claude across federal, state and local government agencies through the US General Services Administration’s OneGov programme. The deal could save taxpayers $1 billion, according to the company, even as its legal battle with the Trump administration over military use and AI safety restrictions continues.
