Codelco and Normet Partner to Accelerate Autonomous Underground Mining Technologies
Normet and Codelco, one of the world's largest copper producers, have entered into a five-year technology development program to advance autonomous and remotely operated underground mining technologies. The collaboration will focus on developing safer, more productive mining processes through technology pilots at Codelco's El Teniente mine in Chile.
