On Sept. 19, 2026, President Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social platform a poll in which followers could vote on renaming the general concept of artificial intelligence. Apparently concerned that "many people think that the words 'Artificial Intelligence' are inaccurate, and very ineloquent," he proposed three alternatives: Superior Intelligence, Extreme Intelligence, or Supreme Intelligence.
