Django introduces JAG AI to support AI adoption across marketing functions
Mumbai-based creative agency Django has launched JAG AI, a service built around Anthropic's Claude AI model that aims to help startup marketing teams and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands integrate artificial intelligence into their marketing operations. According to the agency, the offering combines Claude's AI capabilities with Django's marketing expertise. The service involves configuring the AI platform for seven marketing functions, including brand communication, content creation, search engine optimisation (SEO), website copywriting, influencer outreach, performance marketing creatives, and business intelligence. Django said each setup is customised to a client's requirements rather than based on a standard template. The engagement is designed to run for 30 to 45 days and includes access to a Claude Projects workspace, a training workshop for marketing teams, and a marketing playbook document. The service is priced at a one-time fee of ₹7.5 lakh, excluding taxes. Shivang Shah , Founder, Django & JAG AI, said, "We've spent six years building marketing systems for over 250 brands. At some point, it became clear that the real bottleneck for most marketing teams isn't talent — it's time spent on work that AI should be doing. JAG AI is our way of packaging what we know into something any brand can own and run themselves. Claude is the best AI for marketing work right now. We're the people who know how to set it up properly." As part of the engagement, JAG AI configures Claude to support a range of marketing activities. These include creating brand-specific communication frameworks, generating content for social media, blogs and email campaigns, conducting SEO-related tasks, drafting website copy, managing influencer outreach workflows, producing advertising creatives, and tracking competitors and industry trends. Aashay Shah, Co-Founder, Django & JAG AI, said, "Every brand we speak to has Claude open in a tab somewhere. But the outputs are generic, nothing sounds like the brand, and the team gives up after two weeks. The problem isn't the tool — it's the setup. We've spent the better part of the last year building these systems for ourselves first. What used to take our team four hours per client per week now runs automatically. JAG AI is us handing that system over to brands who want to run it themselves." The company said the service is targeted at early-stage funded startups, D2C brands with active marketing budgets, and small and medium-sized enterprises with in-house marketing teams. It is not intended for enterprise businesses requiring extensive technical integrations or brands seeking outsourced content production. The setup takes 30 to 45 days because we go deep — we audit the brand's existing content, map their team's actual workflow, and build every prompt against real scenarios before we hand anything over. That handover moment is what JAG AI is designed around." The name JAG AI is derived from the word "Jag," which means "to awaken" in Hindi and Romany. The company said the name extends Django's existing brand identity and reflects its focus on helping teams adopt AI-driven marketing workflows.
