ECCP urges investment push in AI, semiconductors
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) urged stronger government-industry collaboration to attract investments in artificial intelligence, advanced semiconductors and green technology. Discussions with the Department of Trade and Industry and the Board of Investments focused on the 2026 Strategic Investment Priority Plan, Global Tech Corridors, infrastructure and energy needs, and targets to expand semiconductor production and develop skilled workers by 2030.
