Google reveals how AI agents are transforming Chrome browser security
The Google Chrome Security Team published a report detailing how large language model (LLM) agents are integrated into Chrome's security infrastructure. Google revealed that across recent milestones (Chrome 149 and 150), AI-driven agents helped identify, triage, and patch 1,072 security bugs–surpassing the total number of security vulnerabilities fixed across the preceding 23 browser releases combined.
