IMC 2026: India’s contributions to next-gen telecom standards at ‘all time high’, says NG Subramaniam

NEW DELHI: The Bharat 6G Alliance has expanded its membership to over 90 organisations, including more than 30 deep-tech artificial intelligence companies, as India advances its next-generation network architecture in mission mode, its Chairman NG Subramaniam said on Friday at the ongoing India Mobile Congress (IMC 2026). The alliance originally started with 10 to 11 members and operates seven active working groups covering core technology, applications, spectrum, devices, and emerging industries alongside multiple international partnerships.
