Meta ran 300+ ads featuring AI-generated child sexual abuse material, investigation finds
An investigation by the Tech Transparency Project (TTP) has found more than 300 paid advertisements featuring AI-generated or manipulated child sexual abuse material on Meta's Facebook and Instagram platforms. The ads allegedly used images of real children sourced online and promoted AI applications offering "nudification" capabilities.
