Stage seeks $25 million Series C to fuel regional expansion and AI push
Regional-language OTT platform Stage is looking to raise $25 million in a Series C round as it seeks to accelerate its expansion across India’s dialect markets and step up investments in artificial intelligence. According to an independent assessment by Media Partners Asia (MPA), prepared in connection with the proposed funding round, Stage plans to deploy half of the capital towards launching services in eight languages—Punjabi, Assamese, Odia, Nepali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
