The campus will cover 264 acres and serve frontier AI companies, hyperscalers and global enterprises. HyperVault will develop the project in phases, based on customer demand and evolving technology needs. Once fully built, the campus will rank among India's largest and most advanced AI infrastructure projects. It will support high-density computing and use liquid-cooling technology for AI training, inference and other advanced workloads. The project could create around 7,000 direct and indirect jobs. It could also boost Hyderabad's wider AI infrastructure ecosystem, including power, cooling, networking, construction, engineering and operations. Green energy and water-neutral design HyperVault plans to use green energy and water-neutral design principles across the campus. The company expects the project to further strengthen Telangana's position as a hub for AI and advanced digital infrastructure. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy described the project as "historic" for Telangana and India during a meeting with HyperVault officials. "This establishes that Hyderabad is now at the forefront of the global AI revolution, with a strong focus on infrastructure. This decade is one of Artificial Intelligence. Access to AI models and compute is fast becoming public infrastructure, and having this compute reside in Telangana gives us an advantage," he said. Telangana beats five states to secure project IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who led negotiations for the agreement, said Telangana moved quickly to secure the investment. "We tell investors and corporations across the world, Telangana Means Business. We move at speed and with clarity of process that matches the expectations of the tech and corporate world," he said. According to the minister, the agreement followed a conversation between Revanth Reddy and Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran in Davos in January. "Since then, within a few months, officials and our friends at HyperVault and TCS have moved at the speed of thought to make this happen," Sridhar Babu said. Telangana beat five other states to secure the project. TCS links project to 'Infrastructure-to-Intelligence' strategy TCS CEO and managing director K Krithivasan said HyperVault will advance the company's "Infrastructure-to-Intelligence" strategy. The strategy combines AI-ready infrastructure with TCS' cloud, engineering, enterprise transformation and AI capabilities. "Hyderabad offers the scale, talent and ecosystem to serve global customers. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Hon'ble Chief Minister and the Government of Telangana for their steadfast support and progressive, investment-friendly policies," he said. HyperVault CEO and managing director Deepesh Kiran Nanda said the company is building infrastructure around higher-density computing, liquid cooling, larger power blocks and faster deployment. "Hyderabad gives us the foundation to build that at scale for frontier AI companies and hyperscalers. We thank the Government of Telangana for extending its support to the development of the infrastructure that will power intelligence," he said. This version should perform better on Yoast because it reduces long sentences, replaces several passive constructions with active ones, adds transition words and breaks the long section into clear subheadings. ]]>
