Tiger Shroff’s team issues legal warning over fake AI videos after firing incident

Unverified claims can spread rapidly online, particularly when a high-profile personality is involved in a serious incident. Tiger Shroff’s team is now addressing this issue after misleading content about the actor began circulating on digital platforms following a reported firing incident in Mumbai. The incident took place around 7 pm on October 18, when Tiger was reportedly leaving a football club. CCTV footage of the shooting showed attackers firing at his car from close range. The actor escaped without injuries, while his driver and a bystander were reportedly hurt. Actor Has Not Issued Any Updates! With speculation surrounding the incident, the actor’s team has moved to clarify what information can be considered genuine. It stated that Tiger has not released any videos or made public comments about the matter. “We would like to categorically clarify that Tiger Shroff has made no statements, released no videos, and authorised no communication regarding the recent incident or any related developments,” the statement read. The clarification aims to distinguish the actor’s official communication from content being circulated under his name. AI-Generated Material Faces Criticism The team has also flagged the use of artificial intelligence to create videos and stories falsely associated with Tiger. Such material, it said, risks misleading audiences by presenting invented claims as authentic information. According to the statement, online platforms have been circulating “fabricated stories, AI-generated videos and scripted narratives, falsely attributed to Tiger.” The team labelled these materials “completely false, unauthorised and intended to mislead the public.” It also called on news outlets and digital publishers to check the authenticity of content before sharing it. We are taking cognisance of these instances and reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies against those responsible,” the notice stated. Its final appeal was to “everyone to rely only on verified communication from Tiger Shroff and his official team.”
